Ferraz Shawmut announced on June 16 that he had changed his name to Mersen.

For over 125 years, Ferraz Shawmut has been offering a wide range of circuit protection solutions. Since 1999, he has been a member of Carbone Lorraine, a large international group based in Paris, France, specializing in the production of high performance materials and solutions to increase the reliability and safety of electrical systems. Carbone Lorraine and all its subsidiaries, including Ferraz Shawmut, have changed their name to Mersen.
